Hi All

I have just received an email from Kath, Paul's wife. Paul past away last week after the cancer had spread to his liver.

We were in contact alot, as like myself, Paul had twins and we were both the same age. I am absolutely gutted.

RIP Paul.

Another good man leaves us. I followed his journey on here and remember a few months ago that his options were narrowing. I hope he died peacefully. RIP Scotkiwi (Paul)

I'm extremely saddened to hear of Paul's passing. I  had some good discussions with him online and am shocked at his early demise. God I hate this disease http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-yell.gif

Rest in Peace Paul

I am so very sorry to read this. Having lost Neil two weeks ago I can well understand what his family are going through. I send you all my love and condolences. What a wretched time we have had on the forum lately. There just have to be better treatments and options for men with advanced disease, it breaks my heart. RIP, Paul.

RIP Paul, Scotkiwi

this is the saddest possible news to hear about, one so young with a young family taken away from them by this horrid disease. I pray daily that we will have a reliable screening system and then cureative treatment for almost every man unfortunate to develop this disease.

Si , I know this will hit you very hard indeed so sending you an extra huge hug and cuddle from across the pond.

Please pass on my condolences to Kath when you mail her next.

Lyn - just what I thought, oh no! not another. Such sad news especially considering his young age and recent diagnosis.

Thoughts go out to the family.

Only 52, very very young and also with a young family, so sad.

Condolences to all Pauls family and friends, and to you Paul RIP.

Reading these posts makes you realise how fragile life is, and also how we should make the most of the time we have with our families.

Regards,

Gerry
