Dear Friends,

Kath has just phoned me.

Mike passed away soon after 4pm this afternoon.

Through it all he had no pain. Thank God.

Another tragedy, and I can't find words.

REST IN PEACE MIKE

Mike was a good friend and I will miss him terribly.

My heart aches and words fail me. Condolences to Kath and the family.

Rest in Peace Mike, you were a thoroughly decent human being.

Kath tells me that it will take some time before Mike's funeral arrangements are finalised, possibly the end of January.

I will post details here when this is done.

Kath would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes while Mike was ill, and for all your recent condolences and cards.

I would think that well over 100 of you have met Mike and Kath over the years.

None of us will forget him.

Such a sad time now.

I didn't know Mike either, but as has been said, a loss of one is a loss to us all. I love the idea of gathering at his pub after the service. I'm sure I would have liked him too. Sincere condolences to all who knew and loved him.

Lawrence
