Not much going on so I thought some of the newbies might enjoy this thread from the old forum, featuring dear friends - a couple of whom are no longer with us but who gave us all a good laugh as they went along

Alternatively, you might enjoy reading Andy Ripley's story - yes, he of international rugby greatness. It's a long one though so make a cuppa first

Lyn

It is interesting to read some of these old threads and it reminds me of some of the witty and very precious people that have been sadly lost over the years. Most of whom  I never got to meet.

I  did meet Andy Ripley when I was playing hockey over 40 years ago,  he was the most handsome man I had ever seen i had a crush on him for ages. He really was a man of great strength and courage, his story is amazing

We don't often get a banter thread going these days which is a shame  sometimes it is good to have something other than PCa to chat about..

Lyn a great link to a very touching informative read that I would not have found without the info you have provided. Going through the this journey with my hubby is tough and though no two guys Re the same it really helps to have an insight to the paths that others have walked.
