we have booked flights to florida in december was going to travel on insurance without cancer cover, but due to the treatment I have now been offered unable to travel

as tickets are none refundable spoken to virgin today and they are willing to let me rebook for next year, no extra cost, am going to go in december and have christmas 2016 in orlando with wife and daughter

That's useful info as I am in a similar situation re likely treatment and sod's law make it makes it probable that it will clash with a long haul in mid-September.

And of course, the tickets are not flexible.  Obviously treatment will take precedence but I'm reluctant to cancel the trip, even though I'm insured.  I may have to negotiate a postponement on the flights- fortunately most of the hotels we have booked are cancellable.

Our flights are not with Virgin but with Swiss - so fingers crossed !
