So my husband has recently been prescribed Viagra...4 tablets. We've had two amazing experiences & two that we might as well just have flushed down the loo! We used the 4 in two weeks, phoned for some more because but was told no can only have 4 a month.

Working on the principal that if you don't use it you lose it has anyone brought Viagra online?

Hi Andrea,

The problem with buying on-line is that unless you are sure of the vendor etc you can get fobbed off with fakes.

However, you can buy extra ones from your regular pharamacy, what you have to do is see your GP, who can write you a private perscription, I did it myself a few years ago, you have to buy in multiples of 8, the price comes down the more you buy, they used to be about £4 each if you bought a batch of 32, they may be cheaper now, I seem to recall that you pay the GP not the pharmacist.

Sad to say in recent years 4 a month has been enough for me, so best of luck, go for it, and consider it money well spent.

When we discussed a private prescription with the GP he explained that John would in effect have to waive his right to the 4 on the NHS ie you can't have a private prescription and NHS prescription for the same thing. Having said that, off label viagra are reasonable cheap these days.

While NICE only permits 4 treatments per month for men with ED as a result of cancer treatment, some ED nurses can be a bit more generous than the GPs and in some regions the GPs themselves do have a little bit of flexibility. For a long time, we managed to get 4 injections or tablets per month from the ED nurse and another 4 from the GP. This was in addition to the daily cialis.
