Sorry radar

Have no knowledge on this one. All you can do is mention at your appointment. You could talk to one of the Prostate Cancer UK Specialist Nurses. When I have been worried I have always found them to be fantastic.

Good luck.
Brian.

Sorry Radar, missed this. As you will already know, this could be a number of things - some prostate related and some not.

- possible infection
- possible hernia
- possible lymphodema (are your ankles / legs swelling at all?
- the HT could have slackened your muscles and ligaments and they are now objecting to being worked

I hope you get an answer at the appointment

I have slight pain in my groin if I bend my legs considerably and also ankles which swell during the day but go down pretty much over night. I think what Lyn says may be the case with me because for various reasons I have stopped playing sport and have become less active recently. I have been referred to 'Physiotherapy' and been given some exercises to do to strengthen leg muscles that have weakened and regain some lost flexibility. This may not be the cause of your problem but may be of interest of anyone in my situation.
