Dose of tamoxifen

I am on tamoxifen 20 mg once a week to try and prevent side effects from bicalutamide 150 mg daily. I am getting growth of my nipples and consequent rubbing of them on clothes that makes them itchy. I want to avoid further growth of breast tissue.

What dose of tamoxifen have people found to be necessary?

The research was based on it being given as a daily dose rather than weekly although most on here seem to have the 20mg per week. Someone will hopefully be along to advise.

I was on 150mg daily Bical and 20mg weekly Tamoxifen for 11 months. I had zero breast issues whatsoever , neither soreness nor swelling. Guess I was lucky. Hope things don't get too bad for you. Not sure whether they would increase the dose. Prostate nurse specialist at your hospital sounds best bet

CNS responded to yesterday's email and sanctioned me going up to 10 mg tamoxifen daily.
