Hi just a query. When they talk about survival rates e.g. 5 year. Are they referring to 5 years since dx or treatment

Those references that cover your question mention survival as from diagnosis as here http://www.cancer.net/navigating-cancer-care/cancer-basics/understanding-statistics-used-guide-prognosis-and-evaluate-treatment
An interesting statistical analysis of various cancers and survival is here https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/healthandsocialcare/conditionsanddiseases/bulletins/cancersurvivalinenglandadultsdiagnosed/2010and2014andfollowedupto2015

Hub starting the journey next Tuesday

Going for a biopsy after MRI having detected a lesion.

PSA 4.2.

No sympthoms but PI RADS 5.

Two negative previous biopsies but no MRI test.

Devastated, in panic for my hub health.
