no it doesn't mean I have 12 mths left

when I was diagnosed in march 2015 with prognosis of 3years, gleason 9 psa 20 spread to bones but not lymph nodes it felt my life was going to end

treatment had docetaxel chemo 6 sessions, radiotherapy 5days over pelvis

on 3monthly jab of Zoladex

painkillers for hip and back

my psa levels for last 12months taken every 3mths have been

0.04 0.03 0.01 0.01

with 0.01 as last one taken this month june 7th 2017

with some shrinkage of prostate

forgot to add bought myself an 1100cc trike vvvrrrrooooooooommmmmmmmmm

Great news and long may it continue ,we are on a similar path and it's a great feeling when the PSA level is 0.01 .

Hi bladerunner many thanks for this. My husband is about to start Chemo next week. It was severe back pain that he went to GP. PSA was over 1000 mets in almost every vertebrae and also lymph nodes. He has started on Zoladex which has brought his PSA down to 7.8. His pain has just about gone and he's come off all his pain killers so we are quite hopeful. You've encouraged me so thank you.
