No response to enzalutamide

Hey

I wondered if anyone has a similar experience to me or knowledge that might help me understand what happened.

I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2014.

After chemo and abireterone I was put on enzalutamide at the beginning of 2017. This worked fabulously for three weeks (reduced PSA to one third) but then stopped working altogether.

Any idea why enzalutamide would be non-responsive after such a short timescale?

Cheers

Terry

For how long were you on abi?

Hi,

Don't take my word for this but my inderstanding was if Abbi doesn't work then Enzo was unlikely to work and versa viisai.

Take a look at my thread we have been on Abbi for nearly 2 years and although it hasn't been a great success in bringing down the PSA I and our oncologist believe it has helped to hold it steady.

My dad was on abbi for 3 'months before it stopped working. I asked his onco about enzo and he said if abbi didn't work then enzo won't either x
