Sex, drugs and rock and roll

We are now two and a half years post op, and four months post salvage RT. PSA returned to undetectable, incontinence still an issue, but not as much of an issue, and my sex life is non existent.

We are fortunate enough to be able to have 5mg daily cialis from a month after surgery. Oh hated the pump, and wouldn't go near it. We tried viridal, which did work- a little too well! After two close shaves out of ten attempts, we decided it wasn't for us and h went back on cialis.

He has lost the will to try these days. Some of this is down to being dog tired with his physical job and the recent RT, but I'm sure a lot of it is psychological. I also think when he does orgasm, it's quite painful for him.

He wants to continue taking cialis daily- I did ask him if he wanted to stop taking it, and it was a definite no.

What can he take on top of the cialis to try and make a difference? Can he take more cialis? Or does it need to be something else?

I've really got you stirred up ain't l ??
You know you're not to mix drugs essentially don't you. It's sad he never wanted to use the pump as he may have lost permanent size. I hope the daily Cialis is giving him daily morning erections like myself. The maximum usage of Cialis is 20mg three times a week. For an event you could try an extra 15mg but say the morning before the event. I have added half a Viagra to the daily 5mg Cialis with improved results. I'm afraid the date night option is still the Invicorp25 injection. The nearest to fully natural fully hard penetrative sex. No pain at all and a good long lasting erection.
I go through periods of painful orgasm sometimes but tbh it's still worth it as a couple bonding and sharing orgasms.
As I've said before , on the daily Cialis , the effect of adding a durex soft ring is stifling. Just gets it to fully hard rather than 80%.
Put it all in a bag , leave dominos money for the kids , and have a weekend break xx

I am assuming from Louise's post that the daily Cialis is NOT producing a regular erection, Chris ... you are very lucky but probably in a minority.

Louise, if he hasn't tried yet, it is okay to take 3 tablets at once and see how that goes; if it doesn't produce an erection then he can try 4 tablets the next time (never take more than 4 at once). The GP is unlikely to notice if you request the repeat prescription a few days earlier sometimes! Do remember though that Cialis takes a few hours to work so if John took extra tablets at bedtime, the erection was most likely to happen the next morning.

The pellets (Muse) don't work for many men but may be a really good option for you, since the viridal was too successful.

Perfect thanks Lyn, just what I wanted to know.

He Akers them at night, so I might slip him some in the morning and see what happens!

I seem to recall a court case where a woman put ground glass in her husband's food; you may have to put ground cialis in his weetabix!

There must be a reason why he is adamant he won't stop Cialis despite you having zero sex !!
Lyn , I'm not talking daily " bed tents " , just good daily lazies that can be improved upon if needed.
Maybe Louise he is feeling the benefits but has lost his confidence as you say. For me , taking extra Cialis doesn't seem to do much or as Lyn says I get the timing wrong , whereas half a viagra added an hour before the event did help a lot. And of course the colored play ring.
I think you have the ammo to try harder but he is struggling with enthusiasm -- I think I would be too if my pelvis had to be fried after getting over surgery. Wishes as always x
