2 weeks of peeing brown debris

I am nearly five weeks post radical prostatectomy and two weeks ago started peeing brown debris. I realise that this is normal to some extent but should it be going on for so long? It has been happening every day and today was worse than before when I thought it should be getting less. Anyone else have this for so long and should I do anything about it? Many thanks for your thoughts.

I never had anything like this, sounds like blood in the urine - you should see your Doctor and have it checked out

I had debris once about ten days after the operation, nothing since.
You need to get this checked out. I would go to A&E and ask for the on call urologist if you can.

Might pay to increase your water intake to help flush the rubbish out. I have found drinking 500 ml of water first thing in the morning produces lots of clear urine. Is your urine brown or is it just the debris that is brown. As already advised get it checked out, our Hospitial gave me a 24 hour Urology contact number which out of hours was the Urology ward.

Thanks Chris
