Can anyone explain what T3a or T3b actually means? I haven’t been graded other than on Gleason

It denotes how far (locally) out of the gland the cancer has spread - PCUK does a good leaflet on it here

They maybe thought that if you are N0M1 (no lymph involvement but known spread to bones) your rating as T3a or T3b wasn't so important to you. You could ask the GP whether it is included in the diagnosis letter from your consultant?

Thanks, that sounds the likely position. I’ve re-read everything I’ve been given and there is no mention of T3 or T4 but, given the wide spread through the bones, it probably has little relevance to my condition.
