So today my hubby had a CT scan with contrast after his bone scan showed changes in his pelvis area. Next week he is to have an MRI. When he came out from the scan he said a lot of time was spent on the upper part of his body. Is this normal? I'm beginning to panic

Hello Denise,
Just to say hope the MRI scan goes well next week.

Hopefully you will get helpful replies from those who have the experience

It is often hard to tell exactly where the CT scanning taking place. I would stop worrying. The scan will have been done of the area where the consultant requested it. When you have the results of the MRI scan you will have some decisions to make. No point in worrying when you don't have the facts. Chin Up!
