I was diagnosed with incurable prostate cancer last year and am currently on a 6 cycle course of chemotherapy. Since I’m a photographer and film-maker I’ve been filming the experience and producing a 6 part web mini documentary series My Beautiful Cancer.

The first 2 episodes are published today at www.mybeautifulcancer.com, and the remaining 4 episodes will publish at 21 day intervals in time with my chemo sessions. Hopefully the films will be of interest to some people here and even of some help.

I'm sure that it will interest members Jeremy.

Isn't it strange how we perceive things.

Our daughter had a stoma at 38 due to bowel cancer and refers to it as her beautiful rose. Without it she would be dead.

It's getting it all in perspective isn't it

I was recommended to watch Jeremy's films by a friend of mine. As an example of using your craft to tell a story of a brave and tough journey, it is excellent. It also benefits from a photographers' eye. Thank you Jeremy.
