Thrombosis complicating treatment of secondary prostate cancer

My husband has a recurrence of prostate cancer after 7 years,, because he has had two major episodes of thrombosis in the last year and needs to be on blood thinners, he is passing blood in the urine also clots. He appears to have a blood clotting g disorder which is limiting his treatment options such as brachytherapy or external radiation.
Heis 59 yrs old and I’m so worried about him. If anyone has had a similar experience, I would be very grateful if you chould share with me thanks.

It wouldn't limit chemo. In fact the blood thinners are a positive asset as they remove the possibility of blood clotting side effects from the chemo, as is the case in my own situation.

Thank you AC. The doctor didn’t mention chemo. I’m a bit scared of it as you hear so many horror stories about side effects. It’s very kind of you to reply so quickly. I hope you are keeping well.
