Hi, since I’m new here I throught I’d introduce my self, I’m 56 and was diagnosed with stage 4 and a gleason score of 9 in November 2015 I started with a psa of 68.

At the moment I’m fit, strong and doing well my psa has stayed below 2 now for 2 years but never droped below 1.

Hi Mick268. It's great to hear you're doing well. My dad has a psa of 55 (age 66) and had a biopsy a couple of weeks ago. He goes back this Wednesday for the results. Do you mind highlighting what treatment you've had since diagnosis? Hope you're enjoying the May Bank Holiday x

Mick, I was diagnosed ten and a half years ago with very similar numbers and still going strong. You may well be as lucky! Be prepared for a bumpy ride in later years as with our numbers all treatments have a finite life and changes will be necessary, but lots of options available these days.

Good Luck
