Zoladex side effects worse than Prostap?

Can anyone tell me if the side effects from Zoladex are worse than with Prostap please?

My husband is about to start HT & we have requested Zoladex as we heard it's the HT gold standard but now we've read about the side effects, particularly memory loss, we're having second thoughts.

Thank you,

Brenda

I have been on zoladex injections since 2015 with one 9 month break.

I find side effects not too bad, I do get

- the hot flushes

- tendency to put on tummy fat, intermittent helps as gave me 9 months off so was able to lose fat and rebuild the muscles. I do a 3 k run every day and 10k once a week weather permitting and weights and yoga once or twice a week. staying off the sugary food is the key and zoladex does seem to give me a sweet tooth.

- mood swings which are the worst to handle especially the down swings

Cant remember any memory loss

Hope this helps and good luck with the journey
