Hello All, My father is done with 4th chemo but after 2nd day of chemo he is suffering from fever for last 5days Temperatures goes up and down but the below 38.5 degree Celsius. Anyone tell me is it ok is having fever after chemo .
Does your father have a phone number to ring to discuss his post chemotherapy symptoms? There should be a HEAT system to prevent sepsis. I know the critical temperature is 38 but I’m sure that he could talk to the nurse on the desk that he or she could clarify any concerns.

BOSE, it is most definitely NOT ok to have a fever after chemo. It is imperative that you or your father speak to your Triage nurse as Blewtrew states.
Please do this, it is potentially very dangerous for your father if you don't.
