I got our bag in Tesco and they were definitely unsalted. They had them either in or out of shells

Any natural remedies need to be checked with your specialist or with people on here. Some are harmless, a few are thought to be good for men with PCa (although none will provide a cure or treatment they can minimise the effects or slow down any spread) and many are downright dangerous. There are a few that men with prostate cancer must not have under any circumstances.

Get advice on the particular ones you are considering.

thanks was not thinking about them in regard to the PC

more in regard to the ED side of things thats why I posted it in

the sex and relationships topics

wondered if anyone had tried some of them

instead of viagra etc and did they work

It depends upon what you are talking about when you consider natural remedies. Any natural remedy is really another chemical thats going to react with you in one way or another. I would never recommend using anything unless you are confident in what you are doing, you understand the risks, and where necessary have taken medical advice. Also, read, read, read, there are lots of research articles out there on the net from reputable sources such as BJU and others. There are websites such as FrankTalk where ED is discussed in detail and guys have tried different treatments and reported back their results.

From an ED perspective I have experimented with various supplements and I also took advice from my consultant urologist, just to make sure I wasnt going to give myself any problems. I did have some interesting results with L-Arginine , the L being one of the 20 or so natural amino acids. There is a BJU article at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10233492?dopt=Abstract

If you do a search on these forums you will find my previous detail on the subject.

Good luck

for last 3 weeks after seeing a programme on tv
my OH has been eating pistachio nuts a handful a day
last night he had a natural erection
he had no reaction at all from Cialis or vigaria

That's brilliant mb5244.
Got my other half a bag of organic. Two nuts in he told me I was nuts!! He hated them.

I ended up eating some myself rather than waste them but as I have a constant battle with weight decided to pass them on to our daughter as she loves them.

Besides which, what if they'd had the same beneficial effect on me, Wow !!!

Hi mb5244

Just had a quick consultation with ' Dr Google ' and reports are very encouraging regarding pistachio nuts and ED ...also supposedly good at lowering  bad cholesterol ( LDL ) levels ..

I've asked my OH get me a lorry load to try http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif

I presume you can buy them unsalted which would be more beneficial?

Best Wishes

I have been struggling with ED since my op and decided to try the pickled onion supplement diet. Worked for me, every time I pass a cheese and tomato sandwich little dave pops up.

KIDDING!!!! :-) OPG hope that no one is offended, it is meant as a joke. And I am still dealing with the whole ED thing so I am entitled to joke about my short comings. Short comings? Some comings, ANY comings  are good.

Anything that works for you is worth pursuing and if it works keeping on with. But, have you altered anything else about your routine or behaviour?

I will try Pustachio nuts and see how I get on, or up?

Have you considered online stimulsu? This has worked for me.

Dave
