Had all that fun, it was the 1970s after all, free love etc but did not do me much good. If it had been prescribed maybe would have avoided the need for all those chat up lines that were embarrassing! I am not sure why you have to have different partners as it sounds as if it's the process of ejaculation which decreases risk, which can be achieved with no partner !

Every now and then an article like this appears and gives us all something to have a few jokes about. The fact that they say it is ejaculation (presumably exhuming semen makes the prostate work so much harder!!) I tend to agree with others, why not with one partner or DIY? Of course our elders would have said that the latter would make you go blind) Like Julie I am intrigued to know why the figure 21 .. I do not wish to lack PC but isn't that the number of vestel virgins promised when you go to meet your maker?

Whatever next....

Find this a little strange. If this is down to ejaculations (which it mentioned), surely high frequency with one or a few partners would equate to a similar number of occasions with more participants. Then what about the men who masturbate frequently, would this not have the same effect? In other words is it not frequency rather than a number of partners?

The researchers were of the view that men with only one partner have less sex than men who sleep around. I think it says more about the researchers' relationships than anything else!

But the Daily Male, sorry Mail manages to tell me that regular sex is a) good for me and b) bad for me, both in the same article. Come to think of it, most bits of the body benefit from regular, but not over use, so why shouldn't the same principle apply to prostates?

My Gran's maxim in life was "Everything in moderation" (including evil beetroot and cucumber sandwiches) and she survived until she was 93.

Maybe I'm being too simplistic. Time for bed (to sleep. Prostate is 120 miles away so I can't exercise it).

21 gives you about a week off per month to get some sleep. Lack of sleep is bad for the prostate (probably).
