Hi Chris

I agree with HenryA on the good news and finding a doctor who treats the person rather than just whatever illness is good find.

Good luck

Ray

In much the same position as Nikon Steve .......
Came home from hols last Friday and had chest , abdomen , pelvis CT scan and full bloods. Was knocked flat on my back Saturday as I think I reacted to the Iodine contrast. Worked Sunday to keep myself busy , then yesterday spent 5 hours at hospital having a full body bone scan. Terrified them coming out at end of scan and asking whether I’d had dental work or a large accident or surgery etc etc. He confirmed that both my knees were shot but that’s a separate issue.
I was contacted and told my Psa is 24. Exactly doubled from 12 in precisely three months so not good.
Onco appt this friday so naturally S****ing ourselves. I’ve got two shifts at the care home weds and thurs to keep me busy. We simply can’t believe they won’t find anything this time , and surely I’ll need some sort of treatment. Scary times .......

It’s nigh on impossible to keep positive when this illness continues to dominate and take over in everything we do, but keep strong and I wish you the best of luck on Friday, Chris ...
