Well, I've gone and done it.http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif

The Sunderland AFC badge is gone.

Having that as my avatar has seen The Black Cats have two terrible seasons with two nail-biting, hair-tearing endings.http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif

I know I'm clutching at straws but I'll do anything to have a less stressful time this coming season!http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif

The only way is up!http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif

Hi George

I still reckon the Black Cats will do their best to wipe any smile off your face http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif

Hi George,

What a good looking guy!  I think the photographer did a pretty good job, not too much use of Photoshop needed too.

I think it's great to see people put photos of themselves as their avatars.  It's nice to be able to see the people we care so much about.

So come on everyone, don't be shy.

It could be worse George, you could be a Wolves supporter like me and watch the dire performances as they progress down the leagues!!

It's a good job we have to make our own luck and not have to rely on football teams doing it for us. Keep smiling, stay positive and don't let the buggers get you down.

Cheers Chris/Woody

Come on George admit it, it was nought to do with SAFC it was young Julie changing her Avatar to her bathing belle picture that made you change.?!

As for your football team, well my poor brother, brother in law and nephew have their season tickets ready as always. They each have little rituals they adopt each season to help them through the pain.

Like having two pints at the pub acroos the road form the SOL before every home game, eating a pastie at half time, wearing odd socks etc. When things were really looking like mission impossible last season (first May bank holiday) I made a large batch of breakfast muffins (no not the mule ones behave) these are made from an American recipe and contain hot and spicy sausagemeat as well as cheese and stuff so absolutely no good to you at all, but Lo and behold one eaten before every game and one eaten at half time not only gave everyone horrendous indigestion (which helps to take the mind off football pain) but your team drew or won the majority of run in matches and stayed in the top flight. The man family have pre booked a shipping order for this season ha ha. Jed even sent Dick avocado or whatever his name is a text to see if he wanted a supply!!

As for me I continue to live in hope that selling players for ridiculous sums of money (Torres, Suarez & Sterling) will eventually lead to some better player investment (not Ballybelly for sure) it would be nice to see them do well as Mr Rodgers really is a nice man. Please do not mention beach balls or FA cup finals of yesteryear as I may just cry.

My avatar will change when I am down to my target weight, can run 5ks in less than 35mins and have perfected my pole dancing routine ... might even be one of me pole dancing but before NS gets too excited it will be a selfie LOL
