Thank you everyone for you kind messages and your support.

I've had a good result but I'm going to stick around on this site to see if I can offer any, help, support and encouragement to anyone especially those with the same diagnosis as me and try to give back what I've received from the people here.

Your journey has been long and complicated and bearing in mind the state your were in when you first went to hospital in Dec 2012 you have come such a long way.

I'm very pleased that you have decided to stay as you story is definitely going to encourage and lift any new member who arrives here in a panic.

All the best for your (very long) future

First appointment with Oncologist since stopping Prostap injections. I had 3 years of HT, last 3 monthly injection was in November 2015, in effect 3 months off HT. PSA still undetectable, testosterone measured for first time at 6. She said I was in transition stage while the HT flushes out of my system so would like to see me in 3 months to monitor.

Hope this will encourage others in their journey with PCa.

Arthur ,

Any encouragement is always welcome. Really pleased for you and envious of your HT position too.

Arthur, well done on reaching this successful milestone on your journey. It will be interesting to compare your PSA rise with mine after HT ended.

Almost feel a bit embarrassed putting this on when others are struggling with PCa but I hope it will give encouragement to other men and their wives/partners. Just back from appointment with Oncologist - PSA 0.01 again, Testosterone normal for first time. Next appointment in 4 months to continue monitoring.

Arthur,

Great news for you and long may that continue. I've never been given testosterone readings but at my last Onco appointment last week I was shown my notes. I just didn't think to ask! Always good to have positive news and I'm sure it helps many on here to know treatment can be effective. I know what you mean about posting good scores, I went below 0.1 for the first time last week.
