My husband started chemo last Monday & is on a cocktail of drugs.Taxetare is the chemo drug but also has anti sickness, bone marrow stimulate, steroids & various others in case of side effects. He is a very active man who never takes a tablet normally.His initial PSA was 42 & Gleeson score 9 but no sign of metastases. After 5 months of hormones the PSA wasnt responding as well as the oncologist wanted so it was decided to have chemo before radiotherepy.My question is almost straight away after the first chemo his abdomen has become very bloated. Has anyone else experienced this?
