A glimmer of hope

My Oh is nearly two years post RRP (Dec 1st), and still has continence issues, especially when tired, and ED.

He's suffered a fair bit of shrinkage- loss of length and girth. This doesn't bother me but bothers him. He has 5mg cialis daily on a repeat prescription (and yes, I do realise we're lucky) and also viridal, which worked but he loathes.

He's not overly keen on bedroom antics anymore- but occasionally we have 'outercourse'. Anyway, on the last few occasions, he's had a reasonable reaction, and yesterday, almost two years on, we actually made it without any injections. It is improving all the time, and hopefully, if it increases his confidence, his libido will increase too

It's not over till the fat lady sings. And she was singing last night

Hi L
Did you read about the brand new injection I tried ? Invicorp 25mg ?
Far far superior to Viridal and zero pain whatsoever. I think I am also getting some natural recovery now , slowly but surely. But sadly I'll be straight back on HT after Xmas

That's great news Louise - John was 3 years post op when it all started ticking again and he is very definitely back to normal now :-)

Brilliant news Louise.
We sometimes have the non medical intervention sessions too and what a boost to the ego!

Once it's gone it's gone, generally speaking. Might improve a bit length wise but not in girth

Thanks Hilary

His incontinence is not so bad he would consider surgery. He's down to one or two small pads a day. I think if he wasn't in such s physical job, he'd probably be there or thereabouts.

I think he's resigned to it now, but thank you for your offer :)

Lyn

That is good news- hopefully we'll follow a similar path. I'm a little frightened to try again in case it doesn't happen and it knocks his confidence. But I'm sure we'll find that out soon!

I know you said your oh had some shrinkage issues- did this improve as time goes on and he gets more active, or is it something that once it's gone it's gone? I don't want to give him duff info!
