Keeping fit, without a bike

Posted 23 January 2017 12:19:03(UTC)

Missing your bike? Try a scooter. I bought mine shortly before radical surgery two months ago. I've got a Micro Scooter, in black, which is for adults, and cost about £200. It has a flexible deck with a bit of spring in it, and post-operatively comfortable. Hadn't been on one for over 60 years, and I was riding it as soon as the catheter was out. The technology is very good. It's fast, and folds up to go on public transport and fits in the locker at the gym. It's a good way to get around while you can't sit on a bike saddle. I use it nearly every day. Was wondering about a skateboard.
