Have you already downloaded the Toolkit Scoobysdad as it may help you with questions to ask.

 

Don't forget pen and paper to write the answers and/or take somebody with you. Two pairs of ears are better than one, specially when trying to take in all the information.

 

Please come back if you want advice.  My only advice at this stage (assuming you are not told there is urgency) is to take your time making a decision.

Not all men get the possible side effects but you have to be aure in your own mind that you can cope with those possible results.

Hi again, just got back from hospital meeting recorded the whole conversation, and had all my questions answered,psa 31.2....gleason 4+3=7 and 4+4=8...t3b.bone scan clear,mri showing bulging to the prostate giving the t3b with possible breakthrough, no and moss i think we are erring to the rt and hormone side, have another meeting on thurs with hospital,starting to happen at lasts lets kick this b****** disease into touch.

hi,ive been on hormones for 5 weeks now, on the six month injection, doing very well the only side effects are the flushes but they aren't  to bad, had a new psa test ,first test 31.5,3 month test 9.2.......gleason 4+3 and 4+4 stage 4,t3b,advanced but no spread, cant have op due to breaking out of the prostate so hormones and rt.Feeling very well going back to work on 4th sept...oh and received the man of men t-shirt today but i don't know how as i haven't bought or ordered one and it actually fits

Good news the PSA is down Jim.

As for the T. shirt, how odd

(Mind you grandson number three text to ask if I had ordered him a new hat. I hadn't and he can't find who sent it to him)
