Hello new to pc uk got diagnosed pc after biopsy from turps procedure .

Given two options RT or RP in writing.

then after two months recovery from turps

had another appointment they said we will put you on A C this confused me as nothing in letter about AC

GLEASON 7

Not had MRI or Another biopsy

any words would help

Hi - good to see your update since you last posted in October last year. Did you mean that they have suggested active surveillance instead if radical treatment? That might be because they reviewed your results at a multi disciplinary meeting and downgraded your cancer or because your PSA has either stayed the same or dropped since the turn. They may be really confident that they got it all when you had the turp.

Ask them to explain at your next appointment.
