Post RRP concerns

Hello all on this wonderfully supportive and knowledgable forum.

Had my Da Vinci procedure on 15 th November, and according to my Surgeon, it couldn’t have gone better.

Catheter out, fully continent, as nerves were spared and there was no spread outside of the capsule.

Here is my question. As a suffererer of Prostatitis/ CPPS, I used to feel the effects particularly in the back Passage;not pain but a kind of buzzing discomfort.

Now with the beloved prostate gone, I still feel the same discomfort in the same area- would that be the normal post op effects.

Particularly sensitive after a bowel movement.

Just worried as I have the first PSA test coming in 2 weeks, which will be a signifier of future SRT or not.

Wonder if any members here have had a similar experience of Prostatitis and Rp?

Many thanks in advance

Hi Anthony

Have you looked at CPPS ? Lots of information there!

Is there any suggestion that you are susceptible to adhesions? Some people make too much scar tissue which can cause pain in weird places.
