Benign Enlatge Prostrate

Hi. I have been suffering from what has been diagnosed as benign enlarged prostrate. In 4 years since the diagnosis I have not been offered any follow up examination or tests to ensure that the problem has ceased to be benign. Should I be worried?

Good heavens!!!! I hope that at the very least, you have been having annual PSA tests? If not, make an appointment at the GP practice for a PSA test and DRE (digital rectal exam)

I don't think you have any reason to be worried right now - it depends on what your PSA was the last time it was tested and what it is now. Let us know once you have your results.
