🤣

What did you say to him, "Funny place, to keep your pump."

I think it was more like "Peter, do you have a mushroom shoved down your shorts?"

Now a year after my original post.

I finished 33 x radiotherapy just before Xmas to mop up any bad guys still lurking (PSA test said there was something there, but PET scan couldn't detect anything).

Two big things I've learnt:

1. So important to take a positive and healthy mind into all treatments. This is our secret weapon and not talked about - or encouraged - enough. You are taking your body in for treatment, but your powerful mind plays a big part and will help you win your battle.

2. A week ago I asked a medic about how much exercise was good, could I over cook it, do myself harm. He started with the usual provisos of not doing too much, resting when tired and then said that exercise strengthened the immune system. No-one in 2 years of treatment had told me that. I'd been told that I'd be weaker, I wouldn't be able do as much, bike rides will be shorter - all negatives as far as I was concerned. And I thrive on positives.

I wish you all well, but know that you can get better!
