I'm a realist Kev. T3a, EPE, Gleason 9, means there is still a big chance of recurrence. However, there are others on here who had similar that have made it without BCR.

Logically, you'd think that if you had a high Gleason, it would raise its ugly head more quickly than a less aggressive one, but I dont think it works like that.

So far so good.🤞

I did over celebrate. Fell asleep on the garden bench and feel a bit stomachy now.🤢

I've just got my, 18 month, PSA check, still undetectable <0.02. 👍

As delighted as I am, I'm still thinking of you lads, whose results have not been as good.

Best of luck to all of you.

Hello all,

Ive just joined the forum, and have been reading through numerous posts.

I had my op in August last Year. It went very well, and I was out by lunchtime the next day. I had no problems with the catheter, and it was removed after 10 days. I was one of the lucky ones, as I have had no leakage problems.

My question is, everything is still dead as a Dodo down below. Nothing, not even a twinge. I've tried the Viagra, and the pump. I've read that it can take up to 2 Years, before seeing any improvement? However a doctor told me that if you have not seen any improvement after a Year, You never will??

Anyone care to comment?

Cheer

Mike

Hello Mike.

Welcome to the forum mate.

I'm pleased the op went fine and that you're not suffering with incontinence. You're a lucky lad.

As for ED. My op was non nerve sparing. I was told I would not get any natural erections again and unfortunately, 18 months on, this has been the case. Invicorp saved me. Now that I've mastered the injecting technique, it guarantees an erection. I'll add a link a thread on the subject.

I was prescribed the drug by my GP following a hospital ED clinic appointment I had 5 months after my op.

Best of luck mate.

Hi Adrian,

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I havnt gone down the injection route route yet, as I was told by my Consultant that he managed to save most of the nerves??

Thanks for link, I will check it out. Much appreciated

Good result <0.02.   I wish I knew what my readings beneath 0.05 were.

Hi Pete.

Presumably <0.05 is the lowest your lab measured to.

5 out of 6 of my results were <0.02, they were all from one lab. One of my results was <0.05 but that was a different lab.

Although your results have slightly increased, they look stable and I hope they remain that way. 🤞

Good luck mate.

Morning folks.

Just got my 21 months post op PSA test results back. <0.02 🥳 'undetectable'

What's even better is all my routine blood checks are satisfactory. Liver function is spot on, giving me the green light to go to the Club to celebrate. 😁

Good luck to all you lads, who are awaiting results.🤞

Fantastic news Adrian!

Excellent news Ady, that reminds me I must take a walk to my surgery to enquire about the results of the test I did over a week ago. They never seem to bother if I don't chase!
