Latest PSA test

Just had my 6 year PSA test.

The first tests were done in France every 6 months.

We moved back to the UK and it is every year, this being my second one here.

Good news as my PSA has not altered from less than 0.01 since the first test.

The thing is each time I have the test it does not get easier.

Anyway a relax from that for a year but at the same time the doc said my cholesterol is up so that starts another bunch of pills.

Happy New Year Everyone

Thanks Guys,
just to think I had no symptoms and bumped into a friend who was going for his psa to be checked. He explained what it was and so I started going every year and so luckily found mine hopefully early enough.
Cant help but wish everyone could be tested annually

Just to add to the last post I go to Spain for a time most winters and this is where I was getting psa checked.
You simply go to the Chemist and when I started it was 8 euros a time with results ready next day.
Latterly it got to about 12 euros but all money well spent.
If that sort of thing was done here it would take some pressure off the Docs maybe.
In France where I lived the Doc would suggest you had it checked and many of our friends took advantage of that.

Good to hear it's all going well. I must admit I do think the LLD cholesterol is something to watch with Pca. Glad it's being looked at.

Kind regards

Allison

Fantastic result and pleased for you.

I would be ecstatic with this sort of results after 6 years!

May this trend continue for the next few years at least!

All the best.

Regards,

Jacey
