blood in wee

i had prostate removed almost 2 years ago but just notice blood in my wee.

anyone else had same problem

Never had that.....best advice would be to see the GP to rule anything else out

Hi Tomthecat,

How much blood are you passing? What's your urine flow like?

Could be a range of things, a possible infection, a possible stricture. As Brianissac says, see your GP to get some reassurance.

Any other symptoms?

1. Pain when weeing?

2. Stinging sensation anywhere around that area?

3. How much blood, red wee or a pink tinge?

4. Every time you go, sometimes when you go?

5. Eaten any beetroot before or pomegranate juice, any foodstuffs that you could have eaten that could be causing it?

If YES or NO to 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 , see your GP. Just in case.

Hi Tom the cat...

It would be worth taking a sample of wee with you when you book your GP appointment too. It could just be an infection, but any haematuria should always be checked out.
