effects of radio therapy and hormone treatment on hips and balance

I was diagnosed in February 2013, PSA 236 but cancer luckily was contained, I had radical radio therapy after 7 months and I have just had my 9th Zoladex implant with 3 more to go.PSA now 0.80.

I would be interested to hear if others have experienced problems with hips and muscle weakness when walking, also very painful wind when taking exercise. I have gym instruction and I can now walk over 2 miles but still have to use walking poles to keep in a straight line!

Zoladex, like other hormone treatments, can lead to muscle loss but can also cause the pelvis and hips to relax and spread (similar to what happens to women in preparation for childbirth) so I wonder if that could be the reason?

My OH been on Prostap for 3 years.

He finds getting up from a crouching position extremely difficult without using his arms (on a table for example) and often over balances.

This started when the treatment for the PCa started.

Loss of muscle strength and general aches and pains too as well as the flushes!
