Sue,

I'm so sorry.

If he was to choose the way he would slip away, I'm sure, in your arms is the way he would have chosen.

Rest in Peace, Ray.

Sue
I'm so sorry to hear your sad news.
I cannot imagine your pain but I'm sure you can ease it a little remembering all the good times.

When it's my time I would like to go in my wife's arms too.

All my best Wishes

Paul

This thread, that was started with so much hope, is ending in such sadness. I am so sorry for your loss Sue. There is a little comfort, I hope, for you and Joy, from having your partners pass away peacefully in your arms. It's what I hope for when my time comes and I'll bet it was what your partners hoped for.

Just picked up on this thread.

Joy and Sue - I am so sorry to hear of the deaths of your other halves. Hearing people dying of PCa really hits me hard.

We do not know each other but my heart genuinely goes out to both of you. You have both been a wonderful support to your husbands and the love you have will never die.

Thinking of you both.

Sue

My sincere condolences on the loss of your man. The only saving grace was the description of him simply passing in your arms, it made me cry but with some kind of happiness. It's something we all dread.

With love
