Hi everyone,
We’re holding a live chat tomorrow (Thursday 9 April) to give you the opportunity to ask two of our funded researchers about the work they’re doing to develop potential new treatments for advanced prostate cancer.
Professor Charlotte Bevan from Imperial College London.
Professor Bevan is researching potential new treatments to help control and treat advanced prostate cancer. She can answer questions about the early stages of drug development and what treatment advances we’re likely to see in the coming years.
Dr Deborah Enting oncologist from Kings College London
Dr Enting is studying how the immune system can be used to fight advanced prostate cancer. As a practising clinician as well as a researcher, Deborah can also answer questions about clinical trials and how research fits into the healthcare system.
We’ll also be joined by Dr Matthew Hobbs, our Deputy Director of Research and Alison Rooke, our of our specialist nurses.
Please post your questions in the comments section on our dedicated page, and join us from 3pm tomorrow to get your questions answered.
Best wishes,Carol
