When I attended UCLH recently there was a BDA group in the Atrium stressing the importance of Vitamin D generally and particularly for people that were in certain categories, though not specifically for PCa. Some of the foods mentioned, (eggs, meat milk) run contrary to what is quite widely thought should be avoided by men with PCa so perhaps safer to get any additional vitamin D needed from other foods or from pills. As an oldy I am one of a group possibly at risk from inadequate vitamin D and it was suggested that I ask my GP to test for this. I was given a leaflet, as shown on the following link. If vitamin D does indeed help combat PCa, this would be another reason for ensuring a sufficiently high level in men. https://www.bda.uk.com/foodfacts/VitaminD

Hi Radar,

Yes, I take this as well. Two capsules a day (although you can buy it in powder form). I buy on Amazon from ecoNugenics.

Does it do any good, the jury is still out I'm afraid.

Here's a link to a bit of research....
