My husband was diagnosed last July with localised advanced prostate cancer, Gleason score of 9-10, treated as G9. After treatment PSA reduced to 0.1 from 28. Over the past few months it has increased significantly and is now 6.8. We are devastated by the news and feels like we are going through the whole diagnosis again but worse. MRI and Bone scan to follow pluse change of hormone treatment, also suggestion of chemotherapy. Not sure if spread. Has anyone else experienced a rise in PSA after such a short period of time following treatment of 3 mths.
