He is also having zometa 4 weekly. Other hormones have failed ie casodex, stiibiisterlol, so am very fearful of the future - any advice ??

Hi jo78
I'm afraid I can't help much other than to say that I'm on a stamped trial which is aimed at hitting the psa early with the latest and best drugs.
The drugs I'm taking together with the Ht (pros tap) are enzalutamide and abbiraterone.
They brought my psa down from 235 to the present .05 in about 3-4 months.

I hope the enzalutamide has the same results for your dad.

All my best wishes

Paul

My OH had chemo first, but, touch wood, is responding well to Enzalutamide - check out my profile for full details.

Good luck.

Jo

We are approaching that stage and our oncologist says that it's a quality of life choice really, Enza has far less side effects than chemo and he can always have chemo later, if he is well enough. We decided on th Enza route and to out chemo off until we have to have it.

Love Allison xx
