Hi all. Trying to start petition to reduce foreign aid and use money saved to fund cancer drugs. You got to try and do something to get this government to listen instead of just sitting back and accepting being condemmed to death due to lack of funding for lifesaving drugs.

Also signed. I think it right that we as UK provide some Foreign Aid for deserving cases but often the money, (or much of it), doesn't go where it should and our Government donates a much greater proportion per capita than other countries. Surely the UK Government should consider the health of it's own people as paramount. Should UK individuals want to support people overseas, as my wife did before I retired, that is up to them.

Had to, I've been refused Chemo locally as the NHS won't fund it.

I have an appointment with my MP to discuss that and will bring this to his attention.

Would much prefer if drug companies were able to extended their patents if they agreed to halve the cost of the drugs they sell.

I would suggest this petition is even more important now as N.H.S. England have removed even more Cancer Drugs from the Cancer Drug Fund prescription list. Radium 223 is certainly one of the prostate cancer drugs removed. Not only us PCa patients are affected, I also care about the thousands of other Men,Women and Children who are suffering from cancer and are denied life saving drugs just to save a few pounds. WHAT PRICE A LIFE?
