so after seeing the oncologist today
was told before we went on holiday that I would be ok to start the chemo soon after my return and that a CT scan would be booked for this visit.
arrived at hospital no CT scan booked and told the goalpost have moved and that when I get results of CT scan and it shows my cancer has not spread enough then I may be refused the docetaxel chemo
so have another months wait for next appointment and possible two week wait for a CT scan

on the plus side, might it indicate that they are not unduly worried about you? Concerned yes, worried no?

the issue is that at my last meeting I was told docetaxel was available but it was either stampede or chemo so I decided on chemo, only to be told today it isn't as straight forward, plus its to late for the stampede trials
