We need your help.
As you may know, a UK clinical trial called STAMPEDE has produced some exciting findings for men with advanced metastatic prostate cancer. The trial looked at the impact of combining various treatments, and showed a massive 22 month survival benefit from giving men newly diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer docetaxel chemotherapy at the same time as hormone therapy, instead of after hormone therapy (the current treatment pathway). We're working hard to make sure that all men who are eligible have access to this combination of treatments, as soon as possible. To do this, we need to share the experiences of men who have been on the trial. If you've been on the STAMPEDE trial please contact Sarah Hynes at Campaigns@prostatecanceruk.org and include when you went on the trial, where and a brief description of your experience.
