PSA - Free and Bound

Hi,

Can any of you good folk throw some light on free and bound PSA tests? Are they available on NHS, do we have to ask for this instead of bog standard PSA and would they have been a better indication of whether further investigations were necessary. It's been offered privately but sure,y the NHS should offer them?
