Just wonderded

Hello,

not the place I ever wanted to be, but it is what it is.

Diagnosed on Tuesday with a psa of 12, 3+4 & T2, not a major shock as I've been having blood tests for the last 4 years,

started with a psa of 12, dropped to 10, but that was as low as it got, then back up to 12.

Been offered surgery or rt, so I've to make a decision, just wondered what the next step in the procedure is?

Thanks

Alan

Hi Alan,

I should imagine if you haven't already had one you may have a MRI scan and maybe a bone scan.

as paul says ask about the scans before making any decisions you need as much info as possible, you need to remember some treatment can rule out another, I am assuming you have got and read the toolkit, don't let anyone rush you its going to be a big decision.

talk the options over with either family or close friend but at the end of the day it will be your choice

could be wrong but I think if you have rt first then surgery out of the question, I have spoken with a few guys and they tell me they went for surgery and not regretted it
