Enzalutimide and lung problems

Just wondered if anyone else on Enzalutimide is having problems with their lungs.
I've had a shortness of breath since I started taking Enzalutimide which I notice a lot due to the amount of exercise I used to do.
Tests show there is an issue. It's not related to a met I have in my rib, and probably not just a long term infection.
I've had blood tests etc today, and we will see where we are on Friday. If nothing shows up they will have to have a look.
The specialist hasn't heard of Enzalutimide being a problem, but then the sample size is pretty small.
Scan suggests its recent so not the legacy of previous treatment.
Would appreciate any info.
David.

Hi David, my OH struggles with shortness of breath and has been on Enzalutamide, although just finished as no longer controlling the PSA, refer to my profile for full info of treatment.

He also complains of a tightness in his chest.

I think a lot of it is to do with lower Hb levels so not enough uptake of oxygen as problems with the actual lungs have been ruled out.

No problem with lungs for me.

However breathing problems are a known side effect of Enzo, see here:

Hi Glen,
Thats what I originally suspected, but my red blood count/haematocrit etc hadn't really changed.
I also had some problems with my heart - palpitations and high blood pressure, and while I was getting that checked out, the specialist referred me to the lung consultant.
Breathing tests revealed a problem with respect to transfer of gases. Interstitional fibrosis a possibility.
X-Ray pointed to something around my problematic rib, yesterday's CT scan gave more detail.
Hopefully they can sort something out but it would be good to find out if anyone else has had problems and how those were resolved.
David.

Thanks for the link.
I've seen it listed as a side effect before but never any detail.
I wonder if there is anything out there?
Could be that there are not enough people who have experienced this side effect for it to have registered yet.
David.
