O.H. had HDR brachy in August 2014 when his psa was 22.   His Gleason was 3+4:7 with no mets or spread.   He had 6 months HT before anything else ,which was ok  .The  HDR treatment took one night in Hospital and three weeks of follow up radiotherapy. No HT afterwards.  Since then he has had only slight flow problem ,treated by Tamulosin which he gave up a few weeks later.  Latest result was a PSA of 0.6 and future consults will be by phone with a specialist nurse.  http://community.prostatecanceruk.org/editors/tiny_mce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif

I am not posting this to gloat -though we enjoyed a celebratory lunch!- but in order to help in decision making.  We are well  aware many are having a terrible time and send good wishes to you all,El.

Good to,hear a positive result and no it is not gloating, just happiness showing through.

Keep it low, best wishes Chris/Woody

That is great news for you both.

It's good to be able to celebrate something like this !
