Magic cure?

Hi Guys,

Last night I went to see Ken Dodd at our local theatre (Yes he is still alive).

It was five hours of total stupidity, same puppets, same sentimental old songs, same old jokes, I had heard them all before and I knew all the punchlines.

But it was five hours of fun, singing along, laughing, clapping, during which I forgot all about cancer!

So whoever makes you laugh go and see them, it is much better than sitting at home worrying or wondering about cancer!

I am still smiling this morning.

:)

Good afternoon Dave,

Lovely post. Yes it's good to be able to forget about our problems for a while.
But not sure about Ken Dodd though.
See you live in Norwich , capital of NFN land . Don't worry , one of my daughters is a resident of Norwich too!

Take care and keep smiling.

I saw Ken Dodd in my teens. He was very funny. Yes taking your mind off things is brilliant. I'm still really trying mindfulness techniques , whereby you live each moment in time and try not to let your mind wander to past or future. Just live in the here and now !!

Glad you got a lot out of it Dave.

I believe it's value for money with Doddy as he is reluctant to leave the stage so his shows go on and on. Not a problem if you are enjoying it hough is it?
