Hi - apologies in advance if I'm not supposed to post something like this but I could really use some help and it might distract us from thinking of prostate cancer if only for a short time! I belong to a pain management support group and we are needing to come up with a new name as we have had to change the place we meet up at. Would love to hear suggestions as we're a bit stumped! Ideas could include one of the following (but am certainly open to others):
Inspirational word (but not one that is associated with a charity or something else).
A clever use of the first letter of each word that makes up another word (for example Pain And Progress! Though this would clearly be unusable as you would end up with P.A.P but you catch my drift. I know there is a name for this but it eludes me right now!).
Something that just sounds appealing and that you would want to go to regardless of gender, sexuality, race etc.
Will be grateful for any help - thanks (we are in the Durham area but this doesn't have to be in the Group name but could be).
